Issue 2 3/4

Well, the Deadbeat page count has swollen. Originally it was going to be three issues long. Well, now we're looking at four. This presents a problem, the first two issues, which have already been printed up, say: 1 of 3 or 2 of 3. So if I have four issues what do I do. Then it hit me...FRACTIONS. So, the next issue of the Deadbeat will be 2 3/4. It will include parts 4 and 5, and the final issue, which will still be #3 will be comprised of the sixth and final chapter. Thus my lazy ass will not have to change the covers of the first two issues....AH. I feel better.

Snake Eyes

I had a nerd orgasm when I saw this. The seven year old in me stared wide eyed. Apparently, someone is making a G.I. Joe movie. And, they at least got the look of my favorite character down.

SPACE WAS WICKED

SPACE travel

I'm gearing up for my trip to SPACE. The convention in Columbus OH not the vacuum of stars and galaxies etc. I'm printing up copies of the first two issues of The DEADBEAT and also reprinting PORNIN' the first mini I ever did that was a one complete story. I made a neat wraparound cover for it. I really like it. I will also have a new mini that I'll be making out of little daily panels I've been doing. I think It'll be called MR. SPACEMAN. Finally, I have a few copies of FUNK (my early and self indulgent work from college.) once those copies are gone I am hoping to never see those stories again. I haven't been told were my table is yet but I figure it'll be divulged soon.

Home stretch.

Well, sort of. I have started the last issue of THE DEADBEAT. It looks like I'll actually be able to see this thing through to the end. I know where I'm going with it and I know what's on the last page. All I have to do is get there. With this going on, having a job with particularly strange hours, and playing music, I've decided sleep pretty much won't be an option for a while. I'll be in a wonderful mood...HEY GO SEE THE BENWAYS LIVE!!
